Career Firefighter/Paramedic
The Countryside Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners is responsible for establishing an eligibility list to fill potential full-time, career firefighter/paramedic openings. At this time, Countryside Fire Protection District is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Firefighter/Paramedic.

Salary Information:
- Firefighter/Paramedic $84,318 -$119,765 (8 steps)
- Entry Firefighter/EMT B $75,886-$80,439

Job Requirements:
Age: Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of hire and under thirty-five (35) years of age on the last date of submission of applications for original appointment unless otherwise provided by state or federal law.
US Citizen: No-authorized to work in the United States
High School Grad/GED: Yes
Valid State Driver’s License: Yes
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Vision: Medical Exam
College: Not required-Preference given
Academy Certification: Preference given
Prior Experience: Preference given
Necessary Certifications: EMT Basic Certified
